Arrested students to apply for bail on Friday

The case against four students who were arrested in Braamfontein on Monday evening has been postponed for a formal bail application.
The four - Sivuyile Mhatu, Oradiretse Masebe, Siyasanga Tshembele and Moses Leshadi - are facing charges of public violence.
Two of the students have been remanded in custody due to pending cases in Stellenbosch while the other two have been released o a warning.
Spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in Gauteng Phindi Mjonondwane says the state is busy with investigations regarding the two pending cases.
Mjonondwane says the investigations will form part of the state's case against bail.
The matter has been postponed to Friday.
