The African Transformation Movement (ATM) has filed papers at the Constitutional Court to oppose President Cyril Ramaphosa's application to review the section 89 report into the Phala Phala farm robbery.
The party filed papers on Monday.
It says the president's review application aims to impede the functions of Parliament.
The report found prima facie evidence alluding that Ramaphosa may have committed serious violations of the law and the constitution.
ATM spokesperson Zama Ntshona says the president needs to justify his claims that the report is irrational.
“The ATM oppose this review application in the interest of ensuring accountability of the sitting head of state who have violated the very laws he supposed to uphold, the ATM vows to hold Ramaphosa accountable for his misconduct of the executive members and other paid work.
“He’s serious misconduct is conflict of interest as a businessman and president which he clearly demonstrated during this right down on how he issued unlawful instructions to cover his violation of the Constitution.
“ATM calls on all members of parliament, political parties, civil society in citizens in general to continue to apply pressure to remake the president account.”
Parliament is set to debate and vote on the report on Tuesday.
