AUDIO: Municipality responds to Vaal sewage allegations
The Local Municipality of Metsimaholo has denied allegations by the DA that raw sewerage was being pumped into the Vaal Dam.
Spokesperson of the Municipality, Dr Gino Alberts says those allegations are untrue and unfounded.
The water which is going into the Vaal Dam is called treated effluent and this process has been done for years, even under the old government.
