Baby dies in Limpopo borehole pit

The body of an 18-month old baby was found in a borehole pit
in the Joppe village in Limpopo, early on Monday morning.

South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Maphure Manamela says the toddler allegedly fell into the borehole pit on Saturday afternoon.
Police in Letsitele are now investigating a case of inquest.



The deceased was identified as Mighty Baloyi.
Manamela says police have issued a renewed call on parents to look after their children.
