Bail conditions relaxed for Mpumalanga ANC official accused of raping daughters
Updated | By Nokukhanya N Mntambo
An African National Congress (ANC) official in Mpumalanga who is accused of raping his two daughters has asked a court to relax his bail conditions so he can continue with his work.

The member of the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC), who cannot be named to protect the identity of his victims, will continue with his duties despite the charges against him.
He was arrested in September and later released on R20 000 bail.
His stepson was also implicated.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) provincial spokesperson Monica Nyuswa said instead of reporting to a police station once a week, he would be allowed to report to his investigating officer only once a month.
“The accused made a report to the court that he has been deployed by his organisation for organizational work. He requested to report to the police station once a month on Friday. The court granted him his request.”
