Bloem teacher (28) arrested for rape
A 28-year-old teacher has been arrested in connection with the rape of a pupil at a primary school in Bloemfontein in the Free State.
The woman is currently in police custody after being linked to the rape of a 13-year-old learner.
Free State police spokesperson Motantsi Makhele says the teacher was arrested on Tuesday.
“The police have received a report that there is a teacher who was involved in sexual misconduct with a student and then the police registered a case which was carried now FCS unit.”
The woman is expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Thursday.
