Board of Inquiry probes Durban harbour deaths

A board of inquiry will be investigating the deaths of six people at the Naval Base in Durban.
Three Public Works contractors working at the site and three SANDF members were killed after inhaling methane gas on Friday.
24 other SANDF members were taken to hospital to b treated for inhalation injuries.
SANDF's Mafi Mgobozi says military police and the SAPS are probing the incident. He says it’s important for the victims’ families to know exactly what happened.

"The family of the deceased have been informed by our members. We will meet with the family to tell them when they are going to bury their loved ones," he said.
