Body of boy (4) found in box in NC

A 36-year-old man has been
arrested in connection with the murder of a 4-year-old boy in the Northern
Cape.
The little boy’s body was found covered by a box in the suspect’s home in Ikhutseng near Warrenton on Saturday.
Northern Cape police spokesperson Mohale Ramatseba says the boy was reported missing on Friday.
“It is reported that the boy left his home to a local tuckshop at about 11am and didn’t return home. The boy was reported missing by the family at a local police station. An intensive search was launched and information led the police that discovered the body last night at Ikhutseng.
“The 36-year old suspect was arrested. The motive has not been identified and the deceased is identified as Thapelo Monareng.”
The suspect is expected to appear in the Warrenton Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
