Body found in burning car
A body has been found in a car that was apparently set alight early on Friday morning in Lenasia, Johannesburg, Gauteng police said.
The gender of the deceased was not yet known, said Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela.
"The incident happened around 3am. The car was seen burning and police were alerted," he said.
"We found a body of a person in the car. We opened a murder case, and we are trying to verify the person's identity."
