Body found on Table Mountain
A body has been found on the northern side of Table Mountain this morning.
SANParks spokesperson Merle Collins says details are still sketchy.
"In terms of identity and gender, I don't have that information," Collins says.
She says the police are handling the matter.
"The police's forensic team is on site and they will issue a statement later."
The discovery of the body follows the disappearance of Unicef associate director for human resources Charlotte Nikoi.
Nikoi went missing after hiking on the mountain at the end of April.
