Body of missing PE man found near Beachview
The body of a 35-year old man, who went missing at Beachview in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, has been found.
NSRI spokesperson Craig Lambinon says the body of Gert Vermaak washed up between Beachview and Maitlands on Wednesday afternoon.
His 10-year old son's body was found earlier in the week, after their canoe capsized at around 7pm on Saturday evening, about half a kilometre off-shore of Beachview.
A 16-year old nephew swam to shore at around 8pm and ran home to raise the alarm.
