Police divers and other rescue personnel recovered the body of a man from a vehicle that plunged down the cliff at Voëlklip at Herolds Bay.

Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, said the discovery was made late this morning.
He said police divers were assisted by NSRI divers and crew, as well as other emergency services including WC EMS.
Pojie said the vehicle was reported to have gone over the cliff on Monday and had been submerged in the water.
"The body had been handed over to forensic pathology services. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Unfortunately, at this stage we cannot reveal the identity of the person that was found," he said.
