Yesterday was a day of astonishing admissions and surprises. The submissions made before the Constitutional Court regarding the Nkandla Pay Back the Money-matter,  are widely viewed as a vindication of the Public Protector’s report on spending at president Jacob Zuma's private homestead. The only question remaining is the amount; Economic Freedom Fighter leader Julius Malema reckons he has the answer.  Samkele Maseko reports has more details.

Malema also made it clear that this was just the beginning of a process to boot the president out of office.

The Constitutional Court has reserved judgement but the admissions made speak volumes. Slindelo Masikane reports.

Constitutional law professor, Pierre de Vos agrees that admitting that the public protector's report is binding cannot be seen in isolation.

It is day six of the search and rescue mission at the Lily mine and up to this far, there has not been any positive news in the past 24 hours. Yesterday the rescue team estimated that 12 meters of rock separated rescuers from the container in which three workers have been trapped since Friday. As Maryke Vermaak reports, it has been a traumatic experience for all involved.

Maryke Vermaak has more on this morning's proceedings at Lily Mine.

Lily Mine manager Mike Begg says after receiving the strongest signal yet at 13:00 on Tuesday, the last signal received was "inconclusive".
