The burned body of 17-year-old Jodine Pieters was found dumped at the local lime factory on Sunday night.

Police took four people in for questioning yesterday, and now two of them, aged 18 and 25, are expected to appear in the Bredasdorp Magistrate Court tomorrow.

Lana O'Neill runs a local safehouse for abused women and children.

She's been assisting Jodine's family.

"The mother is still very, very shocked of what she saw yesterday. The question she keeps on asking was she dead before they did all this stuff to her. We don't know, we can't say anything. It is not going well with the mother," says O'Neill.

In 2013, South Africa was rocked by the news of Anene Booysen's brutal rape and murder.

Just two years later, 15-year-old Elda Jaftha was found dead under a man's bed in Bredasdorp.

A year later, the Overberg town made headlines again when Sulnita Manho was murdered.

She too was raped, and her body also found at the limeworks factory.
