Bryanston road rage suspect granted bail

A Johannesburg man accused of shooting a motorist in Bryanston on Monday has been granted bail.

The man handed himself over to police following an altercation on Bryanston Drive, when he allegedly shot another man during a suspected road rage incident.
The suspect then drove the victim to a nearby hospital and handed himself over to the police.

He was subsequently charged with attempted murder.
Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says the man appeared in the Randburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

He was granted R10 000 bail.
"We are still waiting on the docket to come back to us as the police. It is then that we'll know when is his next appearance.”
