Bullets fly in attempted robbery at Centurion Mall
A robber was shot and killed and another one injured in a shoot-out with security guards during an attempted robbery at Centurion Mall on Thursday evening.
Police spokesperson Dave Miller says four suspects attempted to rob a store.
“We are still looking for two suspects that managed to escape and are following up all leads. The
arrested suspects will face charges of possession of unlicensed firearms attempted murder and armed robbery".
Two unlicensed firearms were confiscated as well as the stolen money.
A spokesperson for the mall confirmed that a security guard also sustained injuries and is in a stable condition in hospital.
