Burglars strike Waltloo licensing centre in Tshwane

The Waltloo licensing centre in Tshwane is only offering limited services on Monday due to a burglary at the weekend.

The centre was burgled on Sunday night.
The City of Tshwane says the centre is still able to accommodate learners and drivers tests for candidates who had made appointments for Monday.

City spokesperson Selby Bokaba says the police is investigating the burglary.
“The affected section has been badly damaged by the equipment used to force entry into the banking area of the centre.
“If all goes well and police finish taking the fingerprints today, the centre will resume business operations tomorrow (Tuesday).”
