Business Unity South Africa on Monday said that while the new cabinet may not be everyone’s cup of tea, South Africans should rally behind the executive.

BUSA CEO designate Khulekani Mathe Business Unity South Africa has welcomed the appointment of a new executive.
Former opposition parties received 12 out of 32 portfolios after the ANC lost its outright parliamentary majority during the recent May 29 elections.
Mathe said Sunday evening’s announcement ends the uncertainty around the composition of the new government of national unity.
“BUSA welcomes the announcement of the cabinet of the government of the national unity, which ends the uncertainty about the successful establishment of the government of national unity, which is what South Africans preferred.
"The announcement signals that South African leaders are now ready to put aside their differences and tackle the social and economic challenges facing the country.
"Our priorities as BUSA include creating and enabling business environments that will attract domestic and international investments, increasing the professionalisation of the public service building on successful public-private partnerships and bringing public finances under control.”
