Three buses have been set alight in Butterworth, Eastern Cape police said on Monday.

The City to City bus drivers were sleeping at a nearly hotel at the time of the incident at 1am on Sunday, said Captain Jackson Manatha.
A case of malicious damage to property was being investigated.
"Police suspect that the buses were set alight intentionally and [have] ruled out electrical faults...," said Manatha.
The damage was estimated to amount to R4 million.
No arrests had been made.
