Buthelezi discharged from hospital

Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) founder Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has been discharged from hospital.
The news was confirmed by the Buthelezi family's spokesperson Bhekuyise Buthelezi on Sunday.
umntwana wakwa Phinda Ngene was admitted in hospital in July for routine tests and treatment for prolonged back pain.
The family said the 95-year-old would continue his recovery at his homestead.
"The family would like to thank in particular, King Misizulu ka Zwelithini, President Cyril Ramaphosa, Thabo Mbheki, Kgalema Motlante, Paul Mashatile and Archbishop Thabo Mokgoba and their families for their love and support during this extremely difficult time.
"We would like to thank all South Africans for all their prayers and well wishes. it is the outpouring of love that has carried Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi to a point where he is well enough to be discharged from hospital."
Prince Mongosuthu Buthelezi spent his 95th birthday in hospital.
The family spokesperson says even though Buthelezi, who is the traditional prime minister to the AmaZulu nation, is out of hospital he will not immediately resume his duties.
"He will not be able to resume his duties as yet. We appeal that we allow him space to fully recover to regain his full strength. We will make an announcement when he is ready to carry out his duties and responsibilities."
