Calls for peace, calm after Duma mic-grab incident
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The Provincial House of Traditional leaders is calling for calm, tolerance and unity among political parties.

It has been reacting to the mic-grabbing incident at an event in KZN's KwaCeza area that has been making headlines this week.
Zulu traditional prime minister and IFP NEC member Thulasizwe Buthelezi was delivering a speech during the anniversary celebration of King Dinuzulu kaCetshwayo.
He had just made critical remarks about the ANC, when the party's KZN chair and event programme director, Siboniso Duma interrupted his address and grabbed the microphone away from him.
Inkosi Sisipho Shinga the chairperson of the Traditional Leaders' House says they have been discussing the incident.
He says what happened was embarrassing and uncalled for.
"We wanted to intervene in this matter so that we can come up with ways to bring peace and stability in the area because everyone is shaken by this. We don't want to go back 30 years ago where there was no tolerance."
Meanwhile an ANC KZN delegation will visit AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini today to make amends.
Shinga says they will also meet with provincial cabinet ministers to find a resolution.
The IFP's relationship with the ANC will come under the spotlight later, when IFP leader Velenkosini Hlabisa addresses the media.
