Capitec customers hit with app, payment issues

Capitec has said it will release a statement soon, but it's confirmed there'll be a systems upgrade starting on Saturday that will affect Business Banking Clients.

Capitec Bank customers are experiencing problems again.
Users are reporting that they are unable to access the banking app.
Some say bank card transactions are not going through.
One man found himself in a frustrating and awkward position at a petrol station in Durban on Friday afternoon after filling up.

Capitec has said it will release a statement soon, but it's confirmed there'll be a systems upgrade starting on Saturday that will affect Business Banking Clients.
The Bank says no Business Banking transactions will be processed during this time except for card machines and credit card payments.

Please be advised that the scheduled system’s upgrade taking place on Saturday, 29th April 2023 at 1pm to Monday , 1st May at 1am will only affect BUSINESS BANKING CLIENTS.
