Cele: South Africa is not a safe haven for criminals
Updated | By Neo Motloung
Police Minister, Bheki Cele, had strong words for
international criminals who commit a crime in their country and want to hide in
South Africa.

Cele was briefing the media in Tshwane on Tuesday morning and answered questions over the arrest of a Danish woman.
The 64-year-old woman worked for Denmark's social security agency and is accused of defrauding the agency out of 15 million Euros.
She was arrested in Johannesburg, shortly after her son was nabbed while trying to board an international flight at OR Tambo International Airport.
Cele says the arrest serves as a warning to all crime syndicates.
"That South Africa is not a safe haven for criminals," says the police minister.
Denmark's authorities have now applied for the extradition of the suspect.
