A man in his 30’s is expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Monday after he was caught in possession of drugs with a street value of R6 million.

Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubela says the man was nabbed on Thursday following a tip-off.
"The West Rand K9 Unit were following the information of a drug lord in Centurion. When they did their observation they noticed the vehicle which was coming to the said house. They stopped at the house, they stopped the car and searched and it was found that there was 4Kg of heroine drugs. It led the police to take the driver to where he resides, where they searched the house and further found more drugs in the car in the garage."
It is suspected that the drugs were set for distribution in other provinces.
The suspect will face charges of drug dealing when he appears in the dock on Monday .
