Change of waste collection schedule in Tshwane
Residents should please take note that due to the regionalisation of waste collection services, certain suburbs will have a new day for the collection of waste.
The waste collection schedule was changed from a citywide collection cycle to a regional weekday cycle to ensure that the city’s resources are optimally used.
The City realises that the notification was on short notice and that there will be some teething troubles at the outset but we hope that this will be sorted quickly. We apologise for any inconveniences caused. Waste collection in these areas will soon normalise as per the new schedule.
