Chaos outside Parliament following Gigaba’s mini budget
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
A clash has broken out between police and university
students outside Parliament on Wednesday.

It comes just moments after finance minister Malusi Gigaba concluded his mid-term budget policy statement.
Students gathered outside the National Assembly in protest.
They are demanding government release the Fees Commission report.
From visuals which have surfaced on social media, it appears police officers used excessive force in an attempt to disperse the crowd.
Police officers are trying to move students away from the parliamentary precinct.

They are beating students!#UCTShutDown #FeesMustFall
The police will beat students because they'd rather violate freedom of speech than answer our calls.
