Chicco Twala: Longwe never carried gun in his life
Updated | By Masechaba Sefularo
The sons of renowned musician and producer Chicco Twala are expected to make their first appearance in the Randburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon.

Longwe and Sello Twala face theft charges after their father filed a criminal complaint, accusing them of stealing his recording equipment valued at more than R250,000 while he was in the United States in August.
Longwe Twala’s name recently featured in the Senzo Meyiwa trial, where the defence for one of the five men accused of killing the soccer star nearly a decade ago argued that Twala was the one who pulled the trigger.
But his father insisted Longwe is not a killer.
“If someone says my son stole from him, I would say yes. But if someone says my son shot someone, Longwe will never do that. He is not that kind of a character.
“He has never carried a gun in his entire life. The defence in the Senzo Meyiwa case, especially the ones who are accusing him of shooting, they are just psychopaths. They are mad.”
