Child dies in Harrismith accident
A seven-year-old child died when a car overturned on the N3 highway near Harrismith, KwaZulu-Natal, on Tuesday morning, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said six other people were injured in the accident.
"Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the vehicle with two adults and six children had overturned about five kilometres out of Harrismith," he said
"Two children were trapped under the wreckage; tragically one died due to the extensive injuries."
The cause of the accident was being investigated.
