Civil society planning more protest action at SABC
The Right2Know Campaign as well as the Save Our SABC Coalition will be hosting a public planning meeting on Wednesday in preparation for a possible protest outside Luthuli House on Friday.
According to a statement by R2K this is a direct response to the SABC crisis.
"The ongoing protests and massive public backlash in response to the disaster wrought by the Hlaudi cabal, together with the recent ICASA ruling, are important victories," the statement read.
They also called on members of the public to keep up the pressure on the SABC and government.

"We cannot allow the public broadcaster to be captured by a faction of the ruling elite and used as a tool for electioneering," the statement read.
The mass meeting will be held in Newtown, Johannesburg on Wednesday.
