They abducted Victor Mlotshwa and forced him into a coffin before threatening to pour petrol on him and set him alight in August 2016.
Oosthuizen has been sentenced to 11 years behind bars.
Jackson has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Mphahlele says the most appalling thing about the actions of the accused was putting a person into a coffin while alive.
She says the accused maintain they see nothing wrong with what they did to Mlotshwa.
The duo are applying to appeal their sentence.
