Coffin assault victim addresses supporters outside court

The man who was allegedly assaulted and then forced into a coffin addressed the media outside the Middelburg Magistrate's Court, where the two men accused of the crime made a brief appearance.
The incident involving Victor Rethabile Mlotshwa was filmed by the two accused and has since gone viral.
The accused, Willem Oosthuizen and Theo Martins Jackson, abandoned their bail application and will remain in custody until their next court appearance in January 2017.
Mlotshwa addressed supporters from the ANC's stage, thanking them for their support.
Mlotshwa's mother was taken to an ambulance for medical attention after she became overwhelmed on stage.

This while the EFF also erected a stage on the same street.
The two parties hurled insults at each other, with the EFF accusing the ANC of not addressing issues like racism in the country.
EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi told supporters that they should occupy land that they like.
