Concourt dismisses Moyane application
The Constitutional Court has
dismissed an application by former South African Revenue Service Commissioner
Tom Moyane to review the validity of his axing.
The court order, dated November 21, says Moyane's application, as well as former president Jacob Zuma's supporting affidavit, have been reviewed.
The court dismissed the application on "grounds for the engagement of its exclusive jurisdiction have not been established”.
"Nor has a basis been laid for direct access in view of the fact that the applicant had other avenues available," the court ruled.

President Cyril Ramaphosa fired Moyane after Judge Robert Nugent recommended in his interim report that Moyane be removed from office.
He then headed to court arguing that the recommendation was bias against him.
Zuma came to Moyane’s aid last week, telling the court that Nugent had no authority to recommend Moyane’s firing.
