Construction worker drowns in bathtub
A construction worker has died after falling into a bath filled with water at a construction site in Sandton.
Netcare 911 says it's not yet clear how the man fell into the bath in the apartment building, but police are investigating.
"When Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene they initiated Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This went on for some time, but sadly there was nothing more that could be done for the man," says Netcare 911.
The man was declared dead on scene.
