Controversial Katie Hopkins to visit SA
Updated | By Nathan Daniels
Controversial former UK talk show host, Katie Hopkins, is on her way to the country to film a documentary on farm murders.

Hopkins is set to investigate and document what she describes as the ethnic cleansing of white farmers.
She believes the motive and increase in farm attacks is due to the race of the victims.
Liberals. I appreciate you are willing to turn a blind eye to the slaughter of whites because they are the wrong colour. But look. Her DOGS were stabbed to death. #plaasmoorde pic.twitter.com/CvJuP1kevm

Afriforum's Ernst Roets says the civil rights movement is supplying Hopkins with information on survivors of farm attacks.
Roets denies supporting Hopkins' trip financially.
"We support anyone who comes to South African and create awareness about farm attacks."
Hopkins' inflammatory and immigrant views have landed her in hot water. Last month Hopkins was ordered by a UK court to pay a food writer around R400 000 for defamation.

Hopkins also sparked outrage after posting a message on Twitter about the Netflix series 'Dear White People'. She wrote: "Dear black people. If your lives matter why do you stab and shoot each other so much." Hopkins later deleted the message.
Roets believes Hopkins' controversial views on race will allow for more engagement.

"I am not aware of her views on non-whites, to use this term. I know that she is a controversial figure, I understand that she calls herself a controversial figure. We speak to controversial figures that are on the right and left wing. What concerns us that any person that help with awareness of farm attacks, is good."
