Convicted killer Ntuthuko Shoba is set to spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Shoba was handed a life sentence in the High Court in Johannesburg on Friday for the murder of his girlfriend Tshegofatso Pule in 2020.
Handing down sentence in a packed courtroom, Judge Stuart Wilson told Shoba that he will spend his “natural life” in prison.

“You will spend your natural life in prison, unless the parole authorities consider you fit for release in the fullness of time. Accordingly on count one of the indictments I sentence you to life imprisonment.”
Shoba was convicted of masterminding the murder of his then 8-month pregnant girlfriend.
Pule, who was 28-years at the time, was found hanging from a tree at Durban Deep in Roodepoort after she was shot by Muzikayise Malepane.
