More than 80 rifle cartridges were found at the scene of a shootout in Katlehong North.

A police officer wounded at a filling station at the Thwala section in the early hours of this morning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Kay Makhubela says it is believed that more than five heavily armed suspects tried to force open a drop safe.
Makhubela says the suspects then broken the tills and took an unknown amount of cash.
"During the robbery incident, police were informed and responded. Upon arrival the suspects, who were outside, opened fire on police. A constable was shot in the upper body and was taken to hospital," says Makhubela.
It is alleged that suspects were driving a silver Audi Q7.
"A joint operation of investigation comprising Organised Crime and the Hawks is underway," says Makhubela.
