Coronavirus: A visual guide to the outbreak in SA

Coronavirus- a fast-moving infection which originated in China - hit South Africa in March after a group of nine people returned from a ski trip in Italy.
People with Covid-19 have symptoms including cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or fever, but these can also be signs of the flu.
To date, there have been 13 confirmed cases in South Africa with Western Cape recording its first case on Wednesday.
6 new coronavirus cases confirmed in SA
This brings the total to 13 confirmed cases. Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says four of the patients live in Gauteng while KwaZulu-Natal has one new case - a South African who returned from Portugal. ALSO READ: Eskom: High Court ruling will allow recovery of costs The Western Cape has also recorded its first case, a man who visited several European countries.
There haven't been any confirmed deaths.
The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) says 645 tests have been conducted thus far.
