Corrie Pretorius pleads guilty to assault
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The Limpopo man accused of assaulting a 16-year-old teenager during an altercation at a restaurant in Groblersdal has pleaded guilty to a charge of assault.

Corrie Pretorious was back in court on Friday after he was granted R20 000 bail last month.
The 50-year-old Pretorius was captured on video assaulting a 16-year-old boy following an argument over the use of seasoning at a local fast-food outlet.
He also allegedly pointed a firearm at the teenager.
Spokesperson for the NPA in Limpopo Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi says the state has withdrawn the charge of pointing of a firearm due to insufficient evidence.
"The court found him guilty on a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm."
The case has been postponed to 2 December for pre-sentencing reports.
