Lawyers for the six asked the High Court in Johannesburg, sitting in Palm Ridge, for time to study the application.

Krejcir, Desai Luphondo, Warrant Officers Samuel "Saddam" Maropeng and George Nthoroane, Jan Lefu Mofokeng, and Siboniso Miya face charges of kidnapping, attempted murder, and dealing in drugs.

Annelene van den Heever, for Krejcir and Luphondo, said prosecutor Louis Mashiane had not "shown us the records".

"I don't know exactly what it is he is going to give the court."

Judge Colin Lamont granted a 10 minute break.

All the accused have denied guilt.

Krejcir entered the court wearing a black suit and greeted those in the gallery before kissing his wife sitting in the front row.
