Testifying in IsiZulu, Lerato Mokoena, an admin clerk at the clinic, told the court she heard gunshots outside the clinic immediately after Ntumba walked out.

Mokoena said she saw Ntuma walking with one hand on his chest and another holding a plastic bag with his prescribed medication.

She said students were running in opposite directions trying to dodge the bullets.

Mokoena told the coirt she later saw Ntuma lying on the ground with his belonging scattered around and he was bleeding.

The admin clerk said after calling for help from the doctor at the clinic, he attended to what appeared to be an injured Ntumba and instructed her to call an ambulance.

She confirmed she didn't see Ntumba get shot and wouldn't be able to indentify the shooter.

However she did see a police vehicle after hearing gunshots.

Ntumba was confirmed dead on the scene.

The four offices are also facing three counts of attempted murder related to three students from an engineering college in Braamfontein who were allegedly also bystanders at the protest.
