Los Angeles highways are gridlocked as thousands of motorists head to their holiday destinations
Americans are preparing for their annual Thanksgiving long week end, with the traditional supper with family and friends due to take place on Thursday night.
However, it takes some tricky navigation - and lots of patience - for those taking on the long road.
