A case of two men accused of trying to sell live crocodiles is expected to continue in the Mankweng Magistrate's Court in Limpopo on Friday.
They were arrested after police pretended to be interested in buying some of the animals, said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi.
The two showed police where the crocodiles were being kept. The men alleged that they obtained the crocodiles from Acornhoek. The crocodiles were removed by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and taken to an animal sanctuary, said Mulaudzi.
The two appeared in court on August 20 and were granted bail of R1000 each.
