CTown mother and baby shot
A woman was shot dead and her baby wounded in Delft, Cape Town police said on Wednesday.
The 43-year-old mother and her baby were shot on Tuesday night by an unknown person who fled the scene, Lt-Col Andre Traut said.
The woman died at the scene while the baby was taken to hospital.
Police were investigating.
