"Traffic will be disrupted on Sunday on roads in Johannesburg," Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.

"The race will proceed along De Korte Street and use Kingsway, Commando Road, Mooki Street and Vilakazi Street in Soweto."

The race would then turn at the Hector Pieterson Memorial.

"They will use Pela Street and Khumalo Street, Klipspruit Valley Road, the N17, Nasrec Road, Albertina Sisulu Road, and finish on the Nelson Mandela Bridge," Minnaar said.

"Motorists are requested to be vigilant for the race, which will start at 8am and finish at 3pm."
