DA to make 'important announcement'
The Democratic Alliance is expected to make an "important announcement" on Sunday following a federal executive meeting held in Johannesburg.
This comes a month before the DA is expected to hold its federal congress in Port Elizabeth.
According to a report members of the executive were summoned from across the country to attend a meeting at short-notice.
However, the agenda was kept secret from many of them, Sunday Times reported.
The party's announcement was expected to be made at 11:30.
