DA: Voting makes you powerful
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
The Democratic Alliance (DA) has called on reluctant voters to use their vote to change the situation the country finds itself in.
The party held its final election rally at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Saturday.
DA MP Phumzile Van Damme said people who have chosen to not vote could be the difference between true change and things remaining the same.
“If you are person who wanted to stay at home, please don’t. It could happen that it is your vote that makes a difference.
“For example, Gauteng if your vote could likely be the difference between the DA and ANC.”
She urged everyone to stand up and make a difference in the country.
Natasha Mazzone echoed these thoughts, saying an “x” on the ballot on Wednesday will someone “the powerful person at that moment”.
