Dancing fans remember Mandoza
Mandoza's memorial service got underway at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg on Wednesday afternoon.
Hundreds gathered to say a final goodbye to the legendary kwaito musician, honouring him by dancing along to his hit song 'Nkalakatha' that was played before the programme kicked off.
Among guests were politicians, musicians, friends and family.
Mandoza, whose real name was Mduduzi Tshabalala, died at the age of 38, his family confirmed on Sunday.
He was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year.
Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa will deliver the keynote address and pop artist Danny K - who collaborated with Mandoza - is set to perform.
