Danny Jordaan confident ahead of local elections
Updated | By Samkele Maseko
Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Mayor Danny Jordaan said the ANC had no serious opposition in the area, going into the local government elections.

Jordaan reckoned the opposition wasn't quite as confident of winning the metro, as they were before the ANC's national leadership intervened in the area.
Jordaan said his administration has rooted out fraud, corruption and maladministration in the municipality, adding that they fired 20 under-performing senior executives in the municipality to help speed up service delivery.
He confidently said the ANC would win the metro against the DA.
"Make no mistake that the ANC here is very, very, very strong. Make no mistake about it."
