Daspoort tunnel to close for maintenance
The City of Tshwane has warned motorists to avoid the Daspoort tunnel in Pretoria West due to planned maintenance work.
The tunnel will be closed on Sunday from 07:30 until 16:00 same day.
Tshwane metro police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba says motorists are urged to avoid the tunnel.
"Alternative routes are Eskia Mphahlele Drive, Van Der Hoff Road and Staatartilerie Street. Tshwane Metro Police Department members will be deployed to monitor the closure."
