De Lille lays charges of fraud and defamation against senior DA members
Updated | By Algoa FM news
Former Cape Town mayor Patricia de Lille has formally laid fraud, defamation and crimen injuria charges against four senior DA members.
De Lille addressed the media immediately after laying the charges at the Cape Town Central police station.
These charges are based on a fake and forged Auditor General signature on a report that was distributed by these individuals.
All apparently in a bid to implicate de Lille in wrongdoing and breaches with regard to MyCiti bus tenders.
The party members implicated are Thomas Walters, Henk Hugo, Shehana Kajee and Bronwyn Engelbrecht.
De Lille says she was forced to go this route because no action has been taken against them from within the party.
